Feb 15 Learning Blog

What we did Today:

Today we were supposed to take notes on pages in our pathways textbook on woman's rights, and medieval manors. We can choose which style of note taking we take them with (outline, web, or cornell) We also had to use the textbook to compare woman's roles in the middle ages and woman's roles today. We had to finish these in class because we couldn't take the textbooks home since the students coming tomorrow need to use them too. Anyone finished both of these were supposed to work on chapter 8 questions of There Will Be Wolves.

Why we did It:

We worked on pathways notes because we couldn't do it for homework, (due to the need of textbooks tomorrow)so finishing them was first priority. We compared women's roles from then and now to help understand development from then to now, and we worked on Chapter 8 on There Will Be Wolves because the people that were finished needed something productive to do.

Connections/Reflections:

I felt slightly glad about taking notes about the content in the Pathways textbook because we had already taken notes about the content in the textbook before, so it was familiar to me. I believe that comparing women's roles would help the class when we would have to compare more things later on in life (because practice always helps).

Homework:

Chapter 8 questions about There Will Be Wolves, due Friday if you didn't finish them in class today (which you probably didn't)
